Abi is growing up soooo fast! She refuses to crawl, but she's very excited about walking someday! She can maneuver her walker like a pro, going frontwards and backwards. She loves to chase the dogs around the house... they don't enjoy it as much as she does! She can hold a small bottle up by herself and she loves to wave at everyone! Still a month and a half until her next weigh-in...

Last days of summer!

Looking through my pics, I've realized that all I take is close-ups of Abi, not of what we're doing. I will make an honest effort to try to 'think outside the box'. My 'box' can't be helped, look at this face...

Summer lovin'!

I've tried to keep Abi entertained, but out of the heat. Here are some pics of us at the Farmer's Market and a bonus pose... Going to the Farmer's Market has been a new hobby of mine every Sunday now for three weeks so far. They have the freshest veggies and I know they are good for Abi! It's fun to walk around, listen to the weekly band, and pet people's doggies. Don't worry, Abi gets loaded with sunscreen!

Abi is 8 months!

Abi is 8 months now! She's bigger than her year-old cousin Autumn at around 16 lbs! She is learning all the time and loves to wave at people now. She's not even close to crawling (she hates being on her tummy), but reaches and grabs everything in site. Her new 'signature move' is one pointer finger in her mouth (probably rubbing her gums). She can say "Dada" and she loves to make fishy noises and spit a lot! She eats almost anything, and if she won't eat it at first just mix a little yogurt in it and she'll gobble it down.

Daddy, Mommy and Abi love to go to Weck's for breakfast. It just happens to be right across the street from Hayne's park. We tried to play around, but it was REALLY hot. Abi got sunscreened up and we snapped a few photos. We hit the ground running when Daddy saw a giant bumblebee!
