Comedian & nurturer...

Abigail is quite the little character. She knows all the noises that common animals make and she makes up noises for those that don't make any. She loves feeding, kissing, hugging her stuffed animals. She, also, enjoys anything that gets a laugh...
Gazing a teddy in the eyes
 Crazy...
 Playing toss with a bear
Telling her she's sorry for throwing her...
 A rare serious face
 Playing Deejay
I can comb my own hair!
In the laundry basket!

14 months and counting!

Abigail is fourteen months already! She is quite the walker these days! She can get close to a gallop now... She still only says a few choice words, but one of them is now "Dora", as in Dora the Explorer. This is my fault, I know, because a lot of her toys are Dora toys. She loves to kiss EVERYTHING. One day, we pulled every single one of her stuffed animals out and kiss each one. She knows most parts of the body and can point to them on herself of the questioner. She loves to look through books and I'll ask her to point to the 'blank' and she usually does. It's surprising how much they already know even if they can't express it verbally. She just now cut her fourth tooth, finally one on the top. She's doing great with teething, she'll cry if she bites down on something the wrong way. But, all things considered, we have an amazing, smart, beautiful, mild-tempered, sweet baby girl and couldn't be happier!
 'Driving' her princess cart around.
 Walking all over!
 Playing dress-up for Dada!
 Hugging her duckie!
 Making faces at Mama!
Learning not to hit her head when scootching under the table!
 She's an avid reader!
 Pulling ALL the books out!
 Super beauty!
Having her morning coffee with Mama!
 Good one, huh?
So happy to see this coming around the corner!

The Fridge of Fascination

So, one of Abi's favorite things to do is play in the kitchen while I'm busy there. This means, a lot! I put all of the 'spill-proof' plastic bottles on the bottom shelf so she can take them out to rearrange while I'm needing things from out of it. One day, I even let her taste all of the condiments on 'her' shelf!
Little dare-devil climbing IN the fridge!
I'm not doing anything wrong, am I?
 Rearranging is a favorite pastime...
Putting my fridge magnets in a bucket...
And then dumping them out again...
